Hello! My name is Emily Sutherland. I am currently a student at Colorado State University: Global Campus working towards my Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing. I already have my Math and Sciences Associate’s of Science Degree, Business  Associate’s of Science Degree, and Basic Business Certificate.

I am an optimistic and creative professional who enjoys teaching others and being a team leader. As a team leader, I keep positivity flowing and expectations high when it comes to my classmates and coworkers because I believe that every person can be great if they just set their mind to it. I love to instruct by one motto that states: “no question is dumb, feel free to ask away” because if I have the opportunity to create a welcoming environment for my fellow peers, there will be more success in the outcome of each meeting.

In the future I aspire to become a communications specialist. With this career I hope to put my customer service skills to the test and make sure that the company I work for will be organized and put at ease with the day to day tasks. My degrees will allow me to find positions in many areas of the United States and I am willing to move to wherever my career takes me.

So watch out world! Emily Sutherland will be putting her feet to the pavement here in a short semester with her pen clicked and a resume in hand determined to start her career. Keep an eye out because I just might be knocking on your door in the near future.
